4th Session Of TEDxParsUniversity's Weekly Meetings
At 4th session of weekly meetings, due to presence of new members, a brief definition of the TED program and the reasons for the formation of the group was presented by the Co-organizer of the group. The session continued with a question from one of the members which argued the reasons of expression and expansion of ideas in TED, and was responded by the executive team and other members, and received the hottest part of the session on the fourth day. Different responses were provided by the present members, which summarizes the Organizer's response here:
- In general, we cannot limit the status of "having an idea and developing it" to a particular group of people; each person has the ability to have an idea throughout his life and try to implement his idea; this can include the invention of a particular object, the presentation of a new technology, an individual design method, or even a lifestyle for a very ordinary person who has created a new idea and has somehow produced value in his life. In this regard, we are faced with two types of people:
first, a group that has reached a particular achievement and has a toiling effort all its life and is considered to be the pioneer and the leader; therefore, it is necessary to express their idea to other people, in case of being leaders. (What needs to be noted is the language of speech, which needs to be completely fluent and easily expressed).
The second group is people who are growing and improving, so it is necessary to express their ideas and make them known to experts in order to have their help to cultivate and develop their ideas. Therefor an idea is valuable as long as it is expressed and shared with others. while it is also noteworthy that the useful life of an idea is considered five years, so when the idea is not expressed, it may actually be obsolete and burn and you Lose a big chance in your life. Remember: Ideas must be spread.
After an engaging and Warn discussion, the categories and responsibilities for members were presented.
